The Rock Band Workshop provides an ensemble experience that gives intermediate and advanced musicians the opportunity to collaborate creatively with each other through rock and its connections to jazz, blues, and pop. This class is the natural progression from private lessons as it gives performers experience playing in an ensemble setting. Rock Band fine tunes musicianship, listening skills, sight reading and playing, and introduces students to different genres. Rock Band allows students to let loose and play music that they hear on the radio. Past semesters have included music from Coldplay, Green Day, The Killers, Twenty One Pilots, Adele, Nina Simone, and many more!
